This is going up the stairs. Coming down is worse, I think. You should check out hubby's toes! They're gripping his little slip slops with all their might ... forming a near "Ostrich-Toe/Claw" thing!! He's got precious cargo there and doesn't want to slip quite obviously!
I wouldn't want to be disabled and live in Tokyo. There are lifts few and far between. many many stairs.
