We've just returned from a lovely holiday around Germany in our campervan, "Scrubby". We've had good family time: intense but fun. The weather was rather unpredictable and it rained an awful lot, but we nonetheless had a good time.
We went to:
1) Insel Poel (pronounced Island Pearl) which is on the Baltic (East) Sea
2) Luebeck
3) Groemitz (another area on the Baltic Sea)
4) Home for a short bit to get more appropriate clothes etc and then head inland to..
5) some working mill in the middle of nowhere (can't remember the name off hand)
6) Hamm - a city, but just used as a stop over and rest
7) Cologne
8) Sauerland which is very mountainous, mostly famous for skiing in winter and mountainbiking and hiking in summer. We went to "Winterberg".
To follow in the coming posts are phoots of our holiday time, mostly of the children, of course!
